Setting up Microsoft PowerPoint® .....  


The 1 minute read, that WILL save you hassle!


BEFORE
you start to create your presentation, read the following and commit it to memory.

PowerPoint's normal default Slide Setup is for On-Screen Show, this is not the same aspect ratio as 35mm slides, therefore if you ARE NOT presenting from your laptop and you require to make 35mm slides - files output as
On-Screen Show WILL result in black borders being produced around your slide. So......

Open your chosen PowerPoint® template or an existing file.

On the File...Page Setup menu you must choose PowerPoint 35mm, and Orientation is normally Landscape.

Click OK.

You can always check what fonts you've used from the Format·Replace Fonts menu.



The box marked Replace: will display the fonts you've used, anything not in the standard set of system fonts may cause you problems.
