We aim to take you well beyond the basics
These 1:1 training sessions are therefore designed for those already
using PowerPoint. Our specially equipped work-stations are staffed
by trainers who understand your needs and the context in which your
presentations are created.
In our experience
Our sessions work best as drop-in slots reserved for appropriate
staff in need of instruction, all skill levels can be accommodated
within each session, by just the one trainer. This gives individuals
the perfect opportunity to advance quicker than they might have
in a classroom based scenario, where everyone is averaged, and teaching
can take many hours.
We
can determine skill levels in 2 minutes
We can assess an individuals skill level by a 2 minute verbal assessment,
allowing us to impart the missing knowledge rapidly. Most of our
client sessions last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, any more than
this at any one time we find is not productive. However, depending
on the length of training you book with us, clients frequently come
back later if time allows to recap on what they've learned earlier
or to ask further questions.
Share training costs
One of the most successful ways to share training costs (and
an appropriate occasion) would be to have us train at a conference
perhaps run by one of your professional bodies. The conference organisers
can book our services centrally, we are then freely available to
every bone fide delegate at the conference. We are able to spend
as much or as little time as you have at your disposal, and it is
the perfect 'filler' between symposiums. We have often re-worked
a client's presentation as part of their tutorial shortly before
they are due to talk!
